Flowers are preserved in the condition they are received. We have methods to correct the colors of most flowers if necessary. This helps minimize visible browning and bruising in the final piece. We use the best of the best flowers from your bouquet, so brown flowers are usually avoidable as long as flowers are received in a timely manner following the event.
Flowers may turn a different color in the preservation process (for example: red roses turn maroon/purple, white roses turn to a cream color, etc.). Flower colors may also fade over time after the piece is completed. This is unavoidable, considering flowers are natural items, but the way they fade is beautiful and shows the passage of time.
The artist has creative freedom to design frames as she sees fit while considering any customer requests stated in the collaboration process prior to the event. A photo of the design will be sent to the client for approval before securing flowers in frame. Customer will have up to a week to approve or make changes to design before the design is finalized.
Turnaround time is usually about 6-8 weeks after flowers are received.
Customer will be notified when pieces are complete and ready for pick-up. For customers within driving distance, a pick up date can be arranged. Customers will be responsible for any shipping costs involved when shipping frames, if applicable.
By ordering, the customer agrees to allow Magnolia Press to use unlimited photos of the bouquet before and during preservation process as well as photos of the final piece for social media and website content.
